Kleinert’s, a division of Hygienics Industries, has announced its new Fabrapel technical textile facial mask with two-way, two-layer protection. The patented multi-layered cotton masks provide fluid-repellency, stain-repellency, and stop bacterial growth with ultralight comfort and breathability. No other mask provides more security from the Covid-19 virus.
A study conducted at the Northeastern University College of Engineering evaluated Kleinert’s facial mask for resistance to penetration by aerosols of virus-like nanoparticles and had a filtration efficiency comparable to a surgical-grade N95 respirator. The methodology used was designed to mimic exposure to virus nanoparticles from an infected individual during sneezing, coughing, or speaking.
“Kleinert’s has a long history of producing personal protection products,” said Michael Brier, Kleinert’s CEO. “Amidst these unprecedented times, it’s possibly more important than ever before to protect yourself and others from the spread of infection. At Kleinert’s, we’re proud to deliver high-quality products like our Fabrapel technical textile facial mask that consumers can feel confident and comfortable in during the Covid-19 crisis.”
The Fabrapel technical textile facial masks have many product benefits.
The masks are made with knitted interlock, and woven cotton fabrics. They will not generate heat, so the wearer stays comfortable while breathing.
Each mask has a second layer of specialised 100 per cent breathable, woven feather down cotton which assists in keeping the virus away as you breathe.
The masks are water-resistant and made with anti-bacterial material. If Fabrapel is held under a running faucet, water will pool and not pass through. Light won’t pass through, either.
Each mask is constructed with a nose dart so that the mask stays comfortably and securely in place.
The masks are machine washable over 100 times. They can be washed in hot water and machine dried.
Kleinert’s constantly researches new fabrics and design techniques to contribute to the benefit of its consumer products. The new Fabrapel technical textile facial masks are made in the US.
